Two-time national champion Henry McKay of the Ottawa Nepean Diving Club nailed his final three dives to win the boys’ D 11-and-under one-metre springboard bronze medal at the Pan Am junior diving championships in Medellin, Colombia. He also was fourth on platform.
“It feels really good to be on the podium. I just kept gaining confidence throughout the week,” McKay said.

A double national gold medalist, Henry McKay recently won a bronze medal in the platform event at the Pan American junior diving championships in Columbia. He also finished fourth in the 1 m springboard. “It’s fun having him as part of the Nepean Ottawa Diving Club team,” says coach Fernando Henderson. “He’s very dedicated and he’s a hard worker.”
