Learn To Dive - Adult

The Learn To Dive Program for Adults is a recreational diving program designed to introduce adults of all ages to the exciting sport of diving in a safe and fun environment. Divers receive step-by-step instruction from the 1 meter springboard, and as their skills advance, from the 3 meter.

Fall 2026

Walter Baker Center Fall Session

SEPTEMBER 12 - NOVEMBER 15

  • Saturday: 10:30am - 11:30pm / 11:30am - 12:30pm (Sept 12 - Nov 14)

  • Sunday: 10:30am - 11:30pm / 11:30am - 12:30pm (Sept 13 - Nov 15)

No classes Oct 11 and 12 (Thanksgiving)

Fall Cost (9 Weeks)

1 hour/week: $265.00

2 hour/week: $530.00

+ once per year $35 recreational fee (see below)

Nepean Sportsplex Fall Session

OCTOBER 5 - DECEMBER 18

  • Monday: 6:30pm - 7:30pm (Oct 5 - Dec 14)

  • Tuesday: 6:30pm - 7:30pm (Oct 6 - Dec 15)

  • Thursday: 6:30pm - 7:30pm (Oct 8 - Dec 17)

No classes Monday Oct 12 (Thanksgiving)

Fall Cost (9 Weeks)

1 hour/week: $265.00

2 hour/week: $530.00

3 hour/week: $795.00

Walter Baker Center Mini-Fall Session

NOVEMBER 21 - DECEMBER 20

  • Saturday: 10:30am - 11:30pm / 11:30am - 12:30pm (Nov 21 - Dec 19)

  • Sunday: 10:30am - 11:30pm / 11:30am - 12:30pm (Nov 22 - Dec 20)

Fall Cost (5 Weeks)

1 hour/week: $150

+ once per year $35 recreational fee (see below)

Summer 2026

General Burns Outdoor August Session

August 1 - August 31

  • Monday: 11:30am - 1:00pm

  • Tuesday: 4:15pm - 5:30pm

  • Wednesday: 11:30am - 1:00pm

  • Thursday: 4:15pm - 5:30pm

  • Friday: 11:30am - 1:00pm

  • Saturday: 10:00am - 12:30pm

General Burns Cost

  • 1 hour/week: $90.00

  • 2 hours/week: $180.00

  • 3 hours/week: $270.00

+ once per year $35 recreational fee (see below)

New Insurance and Program Fee

Dive Ontario and DPC (Diving Plongeon Canada, our NSO) require a once-per-year insurance and program fee of $35 for all recreational divers, payable directly to them. This will be valid for any sessions through August 2026. Your athlete will not be able to participate without this.  Please follow this link, and bring your printed confirmation to your first session.

PLEASE NOTE:

  • No classes on statutory holidays (Easter weekend, Victoria Day, Christmas, etc.).

  • There are periodic cancellations or, on rare occasions, relocations to Walter Baker Centre due to competitive events at Nepean Sportsplex.

  • No make up classes are allowed for the Learn to Dive Program

  • Minimum 6 participants for a session to run, you will be advised if this minimum is not met and given the option to change to a different day/time/location prior to the commencement of the session.
